During the big snowstorm the trees were coming down everywhere. This owl decided to make our courtyard his temporary home until the snow melted out of his tree or maybe his was one that fell. He slept soundly during the day and didn't let us bug him. He had the cutest fat round body and pointy ears.
This is a great pic Annette! I think your guy is a Western Screech Owl. Too cool!
